Welcome!

This website was created to provide one-stop-shopping for educational resources related to alternative energies.

The site offers downloadable lesson plans and activities that are all available elsewhere online, but all in one location here. Some of the activities have extension activities that have been created to be used with GIS mapping data and other industry software. That mapping data and other necessary data (coming soon) are also available through this site.

A list of educational links is also offered here. This is a list of websites that may be of interest to educators. The list is organized by topic for easy searching.

The website also houses a Wind Energy Webquest and a Climate Change WebQuest is coming soon. We also offfer information on our Lending Library of activity kits available through the Virginia Center for Wind Energy at JMU.
